Stevie was adopted by a family with three young girls on Christmas Eve! Little Miss Pumpkin misses her best pal!
Gingy, a 1-2 year old female has moved into our office. She doesn't like other cats, so we have to give her her own space for now!

Chim chiminee, chim chiminee, chim chim cheree!
Welcome Chimney, or newest foster. He has been living outside as a stray with a good Samaritan feeding him. Now he is safe and warm in our bathroom. He can join the brood after his vaccines! He isn't too frightened and doesn't hide. He'll do just fine!

Little Alien has found a home, but there are still 3 kittens waiting!
Little Miss Pumpkin has become SUPER affectionate and very, very sociable. She is always on me, she purrs, gives little kisses, etc.
Butterscotch is very independent, but still very friendly. She places a lot with the others.

Stevie stays hidden most of the time, but we are starting to be able to approach her. She might need a home with a bit less action!

One Departure and 3 New Arrivals!
I brought Cooney (Perlene) and Little Alien (Lotus) to Adoption Day in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux on Saturday. Cooney got adopted, but not Little Alien. Since coming home from Adoption Day, she is super social and slept in our bed last night.
The big news is I came home with THREE more kittens, all from different litters, all born outside. I don't know them too well as they are so far quite shy and enjoy being under the couch. They've definitely adopted each other though, as they were living in a cage together until I could take them in. The photos aren't great yet because they are quite camera shy.

Three Brothers ALL Adopted Today! Welcome Lil' Alien & Coony
It was a very busy adoption day indeed today. Clin d'oeil, Kiwi and Snoro all found forever families this morning. I brought home two baby girls, Siamese crosses (or 22nd and 23rd fosters).
The little white one is known as Lotus, but we call her Little Alien, her sister with the mask looks like a Racoon, so Gandalf calls her Coony.

Three Brothers Remain!
Half of the sextuplets have been adopted. Catan (aka Kiwi), Sheldon (aka Clin d'oeil) and Little Brownie (aka Snoro) are still waiting. Since Triangle (Chausson) got adopted, these three have turned on the charm! You can't sit down without one, two or even three on your lap. Little Brownie is a total suck, he will flop down at your feel, roll on his back, and make perfectly clear that it is time to lavish him with attention. Sheldon and Catan really, really like people food, and so they are always close at hand come meal time. The three of them chase toys (and each other) all over the place. They are neutered now and recovered from their cold, so they are totally ready to go!

Target & Captain America Adopted!
On Saturday Target and Captain America were adopted, and I brought home the remaining siblings, two more grey tabby boys! So, we now have Little Brownie (who didn't end up being adopted, so he's looking for a family too), Triangle, and the two new brothers, Sheldon and Catan. (In honor of "Big Bang Theory" and our favourite board game, "Settlers of Catan.") Pictures are forthcoming, but basically Sheldon and Catan look and act exactly like Triangle, Captain America and Target!

The 4 Musketeers!
The four new kittens are awesome! They are all super friendly, super cute and very affectionate and playful. Little Brownie (official name: Snoro) is already spoken for, but the triplets are all looking for homes. Although it's hard to tell them apart, we have found a marking on each on that helps identify them, and has given them their nicknames.

Pirate & Pepper Find Their Home-Sweet-Homes
Pepper has been renamed Myau (pronounced My-O) and is settling in with a very good friend of mine and his other cat, Gumshoe. She's a trouble maker but I think she'll do just fine.
Pirate's surgery went off without a hitch, though he does look a bit rough now that his eye is sewn shut and his face is half shaved! He will be adopted by another good friend who has agreed to take care of him as he recovers from surgery. (He needs antibiotics.) Pirate's new name is Lefty, in honour of his one good eye! (Although I think Winky might have been a good name too!) Lefty will be little brother to Milo, here's hoping that they get along!

Pepper is full of spice and everything nice!
Words cannot even describe how affectionate and cuddly this kitten is. Of all the 15 cats that have come through our home, Pepper is the absolute most affectionate feline we've ever encountered. She is playful and gets along great with other cats, but above all she adores people. She wants to be with you wherever you are, on your lap, next to you in bed, she gives you kisses and purrs like a little motor. She also has a strange affinity for people food... so far she has been stealing noodles off plates and licking up strawberry scone crumbs when I turn my back! Pepper is 6 months old and ready for a new home, hopefully by the end of the summer!

Welcome Pepper, Foster Fifteen!
Presenting Pepper, a beautiful calico kitten, about 6 months old. She's getting spayed tomorrow. Pepper has only been here half a day and is already pretty at home. She purrs when you pet her, although she is a bit defensive at first. She is simply gorgeous!

Pirate Purrs!
Pirate is adjusting well to foster home life, and his eye doesn't seem to be bothering him at all. He is rambunctious and playful, and now purrs when we pet him (as opposed to hissing).

Ahoy mateys! Here comes Pirate!
Pirate is a 4 month-old tabby cat with white paws. He is a special case because he is blind in one eye. He may even lose his bad eye, we don't know yet. For now he is isolated in our bathroom "nursery" and is very, very nervous. (As you can see from the photo.) It's not too hard to give him his medication, but he obviously doesn't trust humans yet.

Canuck already adopted!
Canuck was adopted last week, after a short stay at our place. He quickly became an affectionate and laid-back kitty, so his new family, who will call him Biscuit, will love him.

All the Kittens are Adopted! Time for Loba & Capucine!
Capucine |
Loba (also known as Loulou) |

Adopted!
On Saturday, March 26th, Willow was adopted by a family with two little girls. Tegan was also taken in by another family as a foster cat, and if it works out with her, they will adopt her! A mother and her kittens will soon be taking up residence at our place...

Tegan is one of the pack!
Tegan is part of the gang! Willow turns her back to the action. |
Hard to believe she spent 2 months under the sofa. |
